There is no other job that offers as many challenges and rewards as teaching. I can't imagine myself in any other profession.
Hello and welcome to third grade! I can't wait to meet you and your child. Allow me to
introduce myself. My name is Sharlene Curet and I have taught for twelve years, eight
of which have been at OJA. I have a passion for what I do. When your child enters my
room at the beginning of the year, I look into his or her eyes and see great potential.
There is a certain eagerness and sincerity in the eyes of a child that is invigorating and
motivates me to strive and “push” them to excel while providing a safe, nurturing
environment for them to “test their wings.”
I have a husband of 17 years and two beautiful children. Some of my personal hobbies
include reading, health and fitness training, and baking. If I'm not in the kitchen, I can
be found at the gym (working off the treats I've baked). :-)
