Mrs. Valmae Lowry
Hello! My name is Valmae Lowry. This is my 19th year teaching at OJA! I have taught Kindergarten, Grade 1, 3 and currently, Grade 2. I have loved each of my classes. Children are a real blessing and I look forward to each new group of children that will come into my First Grade classroom! My goal is that the children will feel safe, secure and loved throughout the school year and they will continue to develop a wonderful friendship with our very best friend, Jesus. First Grade is filled with Bible, Reading, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies and all of them are presented in a fun and challenging way. Besides my school children, I do have a family of my own - my wonderful husband, Cecil and our two daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Jonathan (living and working in Collegedale, TN and Carolyn and Tiago (working and studying in Berrien Springs, MI). I look forward to meeting each one of you and helping your child to have the best First Grade year ever!
